Rising Tide is a
competitive swim club whose members compete in USS sanctioned
meets, as well as Mid-Ohio Swim League recreational meets.MOSL
is a summer league with teams including athletes from Canton,
Coshocton, Kent, Massillon, Medina, Mt. Vernon, Perry and Wooster.The summer season is ended the latter part of July following a
championship meet held at the Freedlander Pool in Wooster, Ohio.
Rising Tide Aquatic
Club was established in the early 70s.Members are
taught the 4 basic strokes of competitive swimming (freestyle,
backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke).Rising Tide is
funded in part through local contributions made to the Coshocton
County United Way.Grants from the Coshocton Foundation
have also made possible improvements to the pool and equipment,
clinics, and scholarships for local athletes to go to swim camps.

encourage each individual to achieve their highest level of
personal and athletic development through swimming.

develop strong values of hard work and determination which
translates into a strong sense of self-confidence.
Q: Who can become a
member?
A: Individuals
between the ages of 5 and 18 who are able to swim 25 meters
without assistance are eligible.
Q: Where and when
are practices?
A: Practices are
held Monday through Friday at the Janet Jones Mulligan Memorial
Natatorium at CoshoctonHigh School.Novice swimmers
practice from 4:30-5:30.Advanced swimmers practice from
4:30-6:30.
Q: How much does it
cost?
A: Fees for each
swim session (fall, winter & summer) are $50 per swimmer, or
$80 per family.
