Coshocton Rising Tide

Rising Tide is a competitive swim club whose members compete in USS sanctioned meets, as well as Mid-Ohio Swim League recreational meets.  MOSL is a summer league with teams including athletes from Canton, Coshocton, Kent, Massillon, Medina, Mt. Vernon, Perry and Wooster.  The summer season is ended the latter part of July following a championship meet held at the Freedlander Pool in Wooster, Ohio.

Rising Tide Aquatic Club was established in the early 70’s.  Members are taught the 4 basic strokes of competitive swimming (freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and breaststroke).  Rising Tide is funded in part through local contributions made to the Coshocton County United Way.  Grants from the Coshocton Foundation have also made possible improvements to the pool and equipment, clinics, and scholarships for local athletes to go to swim camps.

Our Mission:  To encourage each individual to achieve their highest level of personal and athletic development through swimming.

Our Vision:  To develop strong values of hard work and determination which translates into a strong sense of self-confidence.
